Bentley Heyman is an Atlanta-based film director, screenwriter, producer, and educator. He currently serves as a Lecturer in Film at Georgia Tech.

His debut feature, Big Fork, was shot on location in Montana with classmates from Stony Brook University's MFA in Film program. The film premiered at the 2020 Breckenridge Film Festival and was an official selection at the 2020 Raleigh Film Festival.

For his second feature, A Christmas Tree Love Story, Heyman returned to his hometown of Atlanta to shoot on a micro-budget at a tree farm just outside the city. The film premiered at 2020 NewFilmmakers NY and was an official selection at the 2020 Richmond International Film Festival.

His debut short film, Kingdom, won Best Experimental Film at the 2016 Nottingham International Film Festival and was an official selection at the Montana Film Festival, the Brooklyn Film Festival, and the Athens Film and Video Festival.

Heyman is currently in development on his third feature, Already Gone, a Georgia-set crime drama slated to begin production in 2025.

Bentley received his MFA in Film from Stony Brook University in New York, and holds a BA in Economics from Wake Forest University.
